  • Early Childhood Music classes are offered for infants, toddlers and the preschool-aged child in order to instill a love for music, while enhancing the parent-child bond and potentially planting seeds for playing an instrument later.  Join the fun!  Play with your child!
  • The spring session started Monday, January 2nd, 2012 and will run through the middle of May, 2012.
  • Students prepare to attend the Florida Suzuki Institute held at Eckerd College from June 9 – 17, 2012.
  • The fall recital on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 showcased the talent of the fine young musicians as they performed for the first time on the stage at Canterbury School of Florida  (990 62nd Ave NE, St Petersburg, FL)
  • Residents of St Petersburg, Pinellas County and Tampa Bay enjoyed hearing Suzuki violin students play violin outside of the Mahaffey Theater as over 1000 patrons waited in line to attend the Dali Museum on Free Museum Day, Sept 24th.  3500 people went through the Dali Museum that day!  It was great to share the gift of music along side such amazing visual art!
  • The week of October 16th, 2011, students played for the Mayor and other delegates of Takamatsu, Japan for the 50th Anniversary as the sister city of St Petersburg, FL.  Shinichi Suzuki’s birthday was on October 17th, so we enjoyed a birthday cake in his honor at violin group that night!
